Bring HPC and science gateways into your courses
FacultyHack, run with the Science Gateways Community Institute (SGX3), is a collaborative, deliverable-focused training institute that helps instructors integrate research computing, AI tools, and reproducible workflows directly into their curricula.
Hands-on, not theoretical
Sessions are built around producing a real course deliverable — a lesson plan, assignment, or gateway integration — not just lectures.
Mentored cohorts
Faculty work in small groups with mentors from SGX3, TACC, and ORNL across the training period.
Runs annually
FacultyHack@Gateways has run every year since 2022, typically in the fall alongside the Gateways Conference.
